Overview

The Project was commissioned by Massimo Polidoro, a writer, journalist and Secretary of CICAP, a pupil of James Randi, a permanent presence at Superquark, he is often the author and host of scientific divulgation programs Massimo Polidoro also works as a populariser and uses Youtube as his main channel for spreading scientific information.

The project 

Massimo asked me to design a new theme for his new web series, “La stanza delle meraviglie“(LSDM) this series aims to bring different themes that Massimo has been dealing with in his daily life for a long time now, the name comes from the desire to take as a reference the real rooms of wonders “Wunderkammer” where they collected particular objects, which at that time aroused much amazement. Massimo will therefore treat in the series these themes listed here:

Incredible but true

issues that concern facts or stories that at first glance may seem like an invention but which in the end turn out to be true.

Unusual Story

Very particular and mysterious stories that then turn out to be false.

Intro

For these themes I thought it was necessary to have a reference logo, so each theme has its own logo and identity within the LSDM series. To give space to the themes, I immediately thought that the main theme should contain these themes and in turn be of neutral colors, therefore white, black and gray, also to emphasize the concept between light and shadow, mystery and truth. In fact, we find an investigator (the viewer) who is in search of mysteries and stumbles upon this dark room full of mysteries, but a mysterious hand turns on the light to show all the wonders inside.

Social Advertsing

I have not only limited myself to making the initials, but also to understand how to structure advertising, to understand how to create the right workflow to be able to publish a post on a daily basis.

Update 2021

The series in 2021 is always constantly improving, I updated the Intro, making it shorter and therefore more usable for web content, and I also took care of the sound design, writing its own musical tone for each theme.
